Watermans, Birmingham Rep, Rich Mix

Previewed at the National Theatre  March 2015

“According to the Metropolitan Police, on average each year 12 young women are killed in the UK in the name of familly ‘honour’. Shocked and moved by true stories of these killings twelve writers collaborated with Janet Steel to create a unique theatre event that gives voice to these lost lives.

Twelve monologues, one from each writer, each exploring some aspect of the lives on one of these murdered women were woven togther to create a moving and poignant piece of theatre.
