Celebrating emerging voices from underrepresented communities

I’m absolutely delighted that my short novel ‘The Blue Monkey’ has been shortlisted for the 2023 Watson, Little x Indie Novella Prize.

This year the prize is devoted to celebrating emerging voices from underrepresented communities, welcoming fiction of all lengths from writers of all backgrounds in the UK. The themes for consideration are Climate, Crime Fiction and Characters & Community. ‘The Blue Monkey’ is shortlisted for in the last category.
